Now I guage the time of remaining temperate temps by the sun's morning position on the Sandia Mountains. That hump to the right (south) of the tree beyond the wall is a marker.
Then the wildlife stops by for breakfast...
And departs

No sun-rise around here this morning! The El NiƱo is strong this time and we are having an unusually wet summer. 7 inches of rain to date this month where the average for the entire month is 2.25. Haven't seen the pond flow over the spillway in 15 or so years. This keeps up (it's raining right now after a 3" day yesterday and I had to dry off my chair under the awning this morning) and it just might make it this year.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a cat with attitude in that last photo!
