We aren't having a great wildflower season this year. Except maybe for the thistles. Nasty plant but the pollinators love them so I try not to mow them until they've finished blooming. Except where they're blocking my way to the pad the teardrop is parked on! I may have to do something about that spot.
And lovely ones they are. I have never seen California poppies in real life. Well, maybe a few, very few, at a time tended carefully by someone. That's a nice bevy in your photos..
