We've begun returning Andre's driveway to it's original, pulling up the corn plants that've been harvested and taking out the melon plant that gave up all of three mediocre melons.
About 6.5 inches
There're about a half-dozen ears yet to be harvested.
The clouds!!! What'll we do when we no longer go across the street to water?

Was there at least some decent corn?
ReplyDeleteLast night the racoons decimated what few plants I have been cultivating out back and trashed the little pond while they were at it.
The corn was tasty straight off the cob, but required serious chewing. What concerned was stomach upset that set in about an hour after eating. It was mild nausea that persisted for several hours. I tried several times each w same result so finally threw it all away.
DeleteWe had raccoons too. They are destructive little beasts!
Very beautiful!
