We had a number of delays so missed our dinner reservation. Fortunately, I packed some leftover chicken, cheese and lettuce. We didn't starve.

When we got there though, the sidewalk was being redone and was really rough. Fortunately, Ron, standing in the dark ahead of us, had a flashlight and came back to rescue us.

ReplyDeleteIt came on really fast. Kristen & Edmond were there and after hearing how great it was i called about reservations. They were booked solid except for the two nights of the patio room (a serendipitous cancellation). We maybe had a week to get ready. It was great!
I can't believe we survived it. Michelle almost didn't; she was so excited by the desserts she ate beyond her capacity. We needed a 3rd night to recover from the trip over, but Michelle had to come back for a catsit. It was great tuh get outa Dodge tho.

DeleteThose seats look way more luxurious than airplane seats. Glad your trip turned out well. There's different ways to hit the road and experience more life.
